Google Public Data Explorer is a beta service that allows you to freely consult and view enormous quantities of public data. I noticed that ISTAT has made available the historical series of the unemployment rate of the Italian regions from 1993 to 2009. In the hope that it doesn't stop here, I invite you to play around with the graph below. The charm of these tools is that they give everyone the opportunity to delve deeper into complex phenomena, playing with graphs in a very intuitive way. The problem today, especially in Italy, is that public data is not available to the public in an open format (readable regardless of the platform used and reusable). To delve deeper into these topics I recommend Spaghetti Open Data and DataGov.
The network currently described by Google is a web of pages, Facebook Brazil Phone Number would like to be able to design a network in which the connections between people and " social objects " (including contents external to the platform such as web pages, videos, photos, news) are highlighted. To do this, Zuckerberg must convince people that they have control of their information (see new privacy initiative ) and developers to fully use the tools made available to them ( Operation Developer Love ). Among these are the Open Graph protocols: a set of meta tags that allow you to describe the contents of a web page and the share and like buttons. Until now these buttons had a clear and distinct function, giving rise in the first case to the sharing of an external element on one's wall (with photo and description), in the second to the publication of a simple one-line sentence .
For a few days now the like button has taken on greater importance, effectively behaving like a sharing tool. By clicking "like" on an external object (blog/site posts, photos, products on e-commerce sites) or internal ones (official Facebook pages) you will obtain the publication of the appreciated object on your wall (in the form of title, extract, photo associated, chosen at random when not expressly indicated by the developer). A small change with a big impact that could annoy users, who suddenly find their wall covered with news, but make developers and companies happy, who are given a very powerful means to make their initiatives more contagious.
